Built By Wendy has, for some time now, always been a brand I have liked to look at. For its simplicity and wearability, Built By Wendy’s Spring 2008 Collection French Flower is just that and more. This season the fabrics and styles have outdone their past… I love the romantic asthetic and the dreamy little dresses and skirts. Here is a look at some of my favourite pieces after the jump. lipsticktracez.com is a new site launched by founder Reggie Casagrande. A site dedicated to a female circle of artists, writers, photographers, fashion designers and film makers. If you want to scope out the globes most intelligent group of ladies, heres your place. Fantastic interviews and features from the likes of Tiffany Godoy, and Justine Cooper. I love the aesthetic of this site! The film in the background is amazing.. its vibrant and clean…..just like us girls!!! x Come back for interviews with some of these inspiring ladies! Around the time I was studying fashion, Adrover was making his first moves, moves which quickly saw him skyrocket to the top of the industry, with critical acclaim, as quickly as he soured, he unfortunately fell, the NYC based designer was one of the many business owners to suffer as a result of the acts that took place on September 11th 2001. His time has come to return to the heights of which he deserves, the hugely talented designer has signed a deal with “Hess Natur, a $100 million, 30-year-old German mail order business of women’s, men’s and children’s wear rooted in environmentally sound practices.” Miguel Adrover known for his innovation and attitude throughout his designs doesn’t seem like the type to fit into the mould of creative director at a mail order operation, Adrover thinks so though “”I love mainstream,” he added. “For me, this company is not based on trends. It’s based on basics and the outdoors.”
Whether this is the beginning of a new era at Hess Natur or a stepping stone in the comeback trail of Miguel Adrover, I have no doubt it will be a success.

Bless aren’t just fashion designers, they are problem solvers, I remember first hearing of Bless years ago, when they collaborated with Martin Margiela in producing wigs for the Belgian’s collection presentation, that was some time ago, I’ve been obsessed ever since, and while Bless has gone on to become an incredibly well know name and a name which holds huge respect, it still keeps the same philosophy which leaves the Berlin based brand innovative beyond its time.
