Graz Sunglasses - luxury without labels
Tuesday, May 27, 2008
Graz Mulcahy’s passion for sunglasses is easy to see. At 19 he launched AM Eyewear before moving on to consult on Ksubi’s successful sunglass range. Now Mulcahy has launched his solo label, Graz, which is showing up on the faces of fashionistas who prefer their luxury without labels. “The growth has been really organic as I’m just selling them to friends and through stores that get what I’m trying to achieve,” Mulcahy says. “With these sunglasses I wanted to move away from seasonal collections to something classic and timeless and it seems to be working. People are chasing me to get the glasses. They sell themselves.”

The collaboration is expected to extend beyond heels at $190 and flats at $145 in coming months. Visit www.melissaaustralia.com.au for stockists.

Trove Wallpaper ‘Indie’
Sunday, May 25, 2008
A graphic tribute to film luminary Alfred Hitchcock, this wallpaper named ‘Indi’ feels like an action shot of a flock of birds in flight and conjures up visions of the great film maker’s masterpiece, The Birds. The intertwining pattern is formed by a group of blackbirds in motion, not in an orderly fashion, but randomly falling over one another, and attempting to catch up with the rest of the flock. Designed by Jee Levin and Randall Buck from the United States the wall feature was made by wallpaper experts Trove, which are definitely worth a look at!
