The show took us back to the future. Cyber girls and cyber boys. Nicolas Ghesquiere’s spring/summer 2009 show for Balenciaga took on an out of this world beauty with muted lips and slick parted hair. Panels in the shape of hearts (in both its literal organ shape and its traditional romantic guise), glitter tights, Sculpted shoulders on corrugated jackets and each outfit was put with a dainty little clutch and teamed with in-built cone heel platforms!
