Directors Jauretsi and Crystal Moselle, of Nowness, visited artist Nate Lowman to talk to him in his Miami hotel room during Art Basel. In Miami to present his new works; a series of paintings saturated in smiley faces that recall O.J. Simpsons’s chilling suicide note, in which his signature “O” replicated the cheery iconography.
