Six Scents: Series Three is an exploration into the nature of childhood memories and the influence of adolescence on identity. It features unisex fragrances from designers Alexis Mabille, Mary Katrantzou, Junn.J, Rad Hourani, N.Hoolywood, and Ohne Titel.

Each keepsake box contains an individually numbered bottle, an exclusive portrait by Robert Knoke and DVD with the Six Scents: Series Three documentary and short films exclusively commissioned from Alia Raza (story edited by Tavi Gevinson and starring Julia Restoin-Roitfeld), Rainer Judd, Olaf Breuning, Sue De Beer, Iain Forsyth & Jane Pollard, Heather Sommerfeld, Tim Richardson, Lucas Michael and James Widegren. Each fragrance is offered in a limited quantity of 3,000 bottles and a percentage of proceeds will go towards War Child International, which works with children all over the world to reduce poverty, to provide education and to defend their rights.

Starting November 8, Six Scents: Series Three will be available at over 220 retailers worldwide including Opening Ceremony (New York), The Standard hotels, Lucky Scent (Los Angeles), Liberty of London, Colette (Paris), 10 Corso Como (Seoul & Milan), Adelaide (Tokyo), Assin (Melbourne, Australia), Club 21 (Singapore) and Joyce (Hong Kong) for $149.00 each.

Not really one to wear too much make up, this product really appeals, especially in this heat. Organic make up by Kjaer Weis. The motivation for this new project is to create the first fully refillable make-up system in the world. Beautifully packaged too, which also helps my consumer temptations, is courtesy of Marc Atlan who’s branding skills are well appreciated within Commes des Garcons and Helmut Lang’s perfumes.

The Victorian looking lockets come with “tiny swaths of linen and two drams of perfume; the laser-cut cover is perforated to allow a subtle scent to waft through. Each set includes miniature vials of Foxhunt — a fresh blend of country herbs and wildflowers — and Empress Jingu, with notes of cypress and violet. Just add a few drops to the linen within when the scent begins to fade.”

HOPI botanicals just keep creating and releasing the most beautiful treasures, I cant resist on sharing with you. The latest creations are a collection of carefully selected vintage compacts, each named after a Warhol “Superstar” (They have nicknamed this series ‘Chelsea Girls‘ which I think is really cute!), in which a custom blend of Black Amber Balm, solid perfume is poured into.

I love the vintage gold and beautiful colors that are involved with the selection of compacts. I can imagine these are all one off’s which adds to the entire aesthetic that HOPI botanicals are so wonderfully creating.
