Named after the French word for an ornamental cloth worn on the shoulders, owners Adele Berne and Mike Kuhle—who have collectively spent time in the fashion departments of Vogue have decided to do their own store their own way in Brooklyn. Holding labels such as Modern AmusementRogues Gallery and Swedish footwear designer Gram for men; Christopher Deane and Pade Vavra jewelry for women. As the store doesn’t actually open until July they guys at Epaulet have not left you forgotten, the in-house label has just opened their e-commerce site which you can peep here. With two pop up stores in the meantime to tickle your epaulet fancies you can expect a whole lot from this store in the future. the next big project? Artist collaborations.
