Home is where the heart is. I think surrounding yourself with pictures and pieces that you love and inspire you is very important for any home. I like squared off furniture that is wooden and raw, anything Scandinavian designed, and lamps and chairs that are industrial. A huge pillow-drowned couch is a must. And many pictures and paintings in a variety of frames from new to vintage is the perfect finishing touch. I hate clutter, but I have it. Damn. Although I do like a white-out bedroom, with no fussy details. Original wooden floors and stained glass windows. Lots of light streaming in. Persian rugs, everywhere. Would love a couple of brick walls to play against. Window sills are fun to display things.
