Parking Lot Ponies for V Magazine

Inspired by 1986 video documentary Heavy Metal Parking Lot which captured fans tailgating before a Judas Priest concert, the first V Magazine spread channels the heavy metal fashion that may have been part of the mayhem. Models include Lakshmi Menon, Jacquelyn Jablonski, Kori Richardson, Yuri Pleskun and Berthold Rothas.

That is so shit. I'm so tired of fashion spreads that pretend to be relevant to music, especially to music that fashion people only care about because that particular image is "cool" right now. If the people who created this pile of dog shit had ever encountered people who have a passion for the cultures that they're ripping off to make money, or promote their lame agendas, they'd most most likely be ostracised as pathetic poseurs. Which is exactly what they are.
