Rick Owens has opened his first store in the UK, in London’s Mayfair district. After several unforeseen delays, no doubt the fair people of London will be itching to get their hands on Owens’ ominously beautiful pieces. As you would expect, the space is quintessentially Owens, with ‘an air of Romantic ruin…and a modern austerity’. A life sized sculpture of Owens’ head on a platter is the centrepiece of the store, in typical Owens wit and irony.
