Based on the 80s’ video game Pole Position, Sandra Backlund’s Spring 09 collection is entitled Pool Position. When we think of the oh so common commentary of the blending of Fashion and Art, the best reference lies in designers such as Chalayan and Backlund who’s creations take on their conceptual form but allow for a real sense of wearability.
