I am really into tea. Green tea, Lady Grey, English Breakfast, Mandarin and Lime, Green Melon and Jasmine. It is beginning to be a bit of a ritual for me, allowing special time for me and my tea at times throughout the day. However recently we have discovered that our tea mugs suck. They ‘tea ritual’ is over in about 5 minutes. Not so good- plus it goes cold too quickly.  We want those big hold-with-your-entire-hand type mugs that keep your giant amount of tea hot and flowing. So today, on the radar, is some new, big, tea-forever mugs.

Reading through HUGE Magazine I found an article on these guys- Heath Ceramics, situated in L.A. and just recently in San Francisco.

Heath Ceramics is one of the few remaining mid-century American potteries still in existence today. A crew of sixty skilled craftsmen have been hand making their products for over a half-century right in the heart of Sausalito, California factory.

There products are beautiful. In all shapes and sizes, and in warm, rich colors like chocolate brown and sea blue. Here are a few that caught my eye, but there are so many offerings- go and check them out!

(love those glasses!)
