I first got introduced to Julia Chiang’s work at OHWOW Gallery in Miami, Art Basel 2009, where I stood in a room of her work completely surrounded by Ring Pop Candy’s. The room smelt sweet from the heat driven candy dripping down the gallery’s walls. The candy’s were placed on the walls to spell out the words ‘ “Sincerely Yours”, “Hugs + Kisses”, and “Love Always”.

Here is a look at Julia Chiang’s newest limited edition pieces of works named ‘Home-made Remedy, (Still Working It Out)’ 2009. Made from Porcelain, glaze, and held in a plastic container, Julia Chiang offers a varied edition of 30 which are each signed and numbered by the artist. 

I love the fact you can actually hold and enjoy the piece. It looks as if it fits on your hand nicely too. See all images below.
