Chanel Coco Country Bag.

It seems this season quite a few of our favorite designers have been getting a little arts and crafty in their designs. Mashing of colors and fabrics pile up on leading handbags and dresses for Spring 2010. I think it is interesting to watch our biggest fashion houses blend in the ‘streets’ culture and way of dressing. A way of merging into a new market, growing their current one or simply getting the younger blood into their stores so they can create a relationship with the brand, for life, they hope? Like the wash-off tattoos you can buy at Chanel now. I cannot image an Audrey Hepburn-type Parisian running down Rue Saint Honore to elbow aside other ‘I-must-have-one-too’ women at her beloved Chanel counter for wash-off tatoos from her loyal brand? What do you think?

Here are a few which will be available this season.

Comme des Garcons Wool Multi-Fabric Collage Dress

Rodarte Burnt and Painted Lace, Floral Print, Plaid, and Sandpapered Silk and Linen Dress

Chanel Crochet Handbag with floral appliqués
