“Ode to Celine” Look of the Week by Natalie Joos.

The blouse has very special meaning to me. My grandmother got it for me a very long time ago and she would be very proud if she saw these pictures. I love the colorful little bee print and airy cotton. It’s chic but in a playful way, which I suppose could still be considered the going influence at Celine, albeit a bit more “Philofied”.

The 70′s peach Celine denim skirt is a recent purchase from No. 6 Store on Center Market Place. From the color, to the buttons, to the embroidered logo on the stitched pocket, to the 70′s A-line shape, this skirt screams sophistication, but again, in a playful way.

 

The Celine box bag was an instant classic. I love the citron and lagoon color that’s out now, but I’m really into pastels, so this baby blue matched perfectly with my mood and outfit.

I’ve always had a thing for head scarves. I opted for a pink bandana to compliment the rest of the color scheme. And it gives the whole look that kind of 1970′s St Tropez vibe, especially with those Celine wayfarer sunglasses. I can picture myself strolling on the promenade with Alain Delon in a thin black suit and those same glasses. If only…
