Editor-in-chief Danielle Top has once again turned to friends and artists to inspire the latest edition of TOP–an irreverent lifestyle magazine where the worlds of art, music, design, and fashion cheerfully collide.

Downtown fave Jen Brill interviews rising art star Jeanette Hayes on internet celebrity and the science of selfies in a feature photographed by Richard Kern. Dan Colen catches up with his old RISD chum Adam Marnie to compare notes on their evolving aesthetic processes (they find they’ve both relentlessly interrogated the boundaries of sculpture and painting using materials as diverse as bird shit, tipped motorcycles, and punched drywall). Fresh from his show at Salon 94, Jayson Musson sits down with the documentarian and photographer Peter Sutherland for a hilarious conversation on funny artists. Meanwhile, Julia Chiang and Maia Ruth Lee fuse each other’s talents to provide a kaleidoscopic take on a sunny afternoon and Mark Carrasquillo opens up his personal album to show us some pictures he took road tripping with his daughter’s mother in the 90s.
