Tuesday’s Tune: Malela
I have been meaning to post a Brian Jonestown Massacre song on Tuesday’s Tune for so long now, but every time I go to do that I find I can never commit to only one song. All their songs are so good and they all lend so well to each other it is hard to pick out just one. I like the way their albums are delivered as an entire package too, a solid segment taken right out of the bands head and hearts. It feels almost unjust to slice one out of its considered location.
The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Malela / Salaam, from their Give It Back album, 1997, is what I have ended up with. My ears cling on to the sound of the sitar, a sound I definitely have a soft spot for. I hope you enjoy!
