Ursa Major 2010 Collection Jewelry by Kate Jones
So, a bit of a follow on from my previous post about Jake Davis’ test shot on the very adorable Kate Jones here, but this is definitely worth the share. Kate Jones, as Jake had mentioned, designs an amazing jewelry collection which is called Ursa Major. While I was adding the link into the post I couldn’t help but get entirely distracted by her new Ursa Major Summer 2010 collection!!
A perfect balance between cutesy and feminine pieces blended with a simple, more masculine approach to accessorizing with bolder lines and shapes. I absolutely love the ‘Monkey’s Fist’ charm necklace and the ‘File Dome’ rings (image above). I really like when you can tell a piece of metal has been handled, shaped and moulded with loving hands, making each charm look as if it is a one off piece. Most of the collection is available in rose gold, 18K gold and sterling silver which is nice too, to have the choice.
