Alexander Wang Pre Fall 09 Collection

This season was about ‘bringing sexy back’ in Alexander Wang’s words, out with the denim, perforated leather and athletic look from previous seasons and in the door walked a velvet tuxedo jacket, a one-sleeve draped cocktail dress with hook-and-eye closures, a light blue denim bustier with black velvet bra cups, and a gold-stud print trench!….. yeow. Although Wang insists he still can’t get past his thrown together looks, he is definately giving off the impression that his signature ways are growing up and taking on a much more sophisticated approach.
