Conflicted

A poem by Amber Rose…

 And just like that

I know I love you

but I can’t give you what you want.

I can’t be your lover

I can’t share ink-blue twisted sheets

splattered

star dust heat

with you.

And I don’t want to bring it up,

because I don’t want this to end.

I don’t want us, to split into you

and I

telling our thoughts to the sky

instead of the crook of each other’s neck.
