For the first of AnyOne,Girl’s ‘Friday Feels Like”s we’re going to celebrate the beautiful and forgotten bindi. A bindi, Hindi: बिंदी, from Sanskrit bindu, meaning “a drop, small particle, dot” is used to decorate ones forehead and the area between the eyebrows (where the bindi is placed) is said to be the sixth chakra, ajna, the seat of “concealed wisdom”.
It was a signature addition to Gwen Stefani’s look in the 90s, or Abbey Lee’s more recent rock n roll vibe on stage with her band, and now we think these small but precious facial jewels are just what we need to step into the new season of sunshine with.
