I seem to be always coming back to the same theme as of late; speaking of girls who are not afraid of wearing a uniform and confident enough to wear what they know they look and feel good in. Why stray from anything other than that? One thing that I have no issue with buying and never throwing away is denim. With just the right amount of weight in cotton and in all the best shades of blue, I’ll take them vintage, raw, stretch, high-waisted, chopped and patched.

Another fine example of this is by San Francisco-based Taylor Stitch.  Having recently ventured their designs into new territory with their debut collection of womenswear, the brand focuses purely on the color indigo. Designed by my inspiring and beautiful friend Kate Jones, I most definitely have a soft spot for the range. It is potent with her style – simple, relaxed and sophisticated. The collection consists of every piece a girl should own in her wardrobe – the perfect fitting tee, the not-too-tight, not-too-short day dress, and the perfectly weighted crew-necked sweater for those cooler nights.

Their lookbook, photographed in Northern California, is a collaboration between Taylor Stitch and Bekah of A Well Traveled Woman.
