My obsession with Zoe Ghertner’s work deepens as she continues to make images that spark our senses alight; sweet citrus fruit you can almost smell, and that zing up your nose from the Fanta bubbles is in there too, freshly bitten strawberries that you can imagine tasting in your own mouth – it’s spring on high volume. All those visual hits, paired against American styling cliches: 70s skater tees, the Carharrt logo referencing the workingman-style, and star and denim pieces tipping their hats at the all-American cowboy. I love it.
