Mark Tipple Underwater Project

While checking up on an exhibition opening I am going to this evening at Saturdays I came across these amazing images taken by photographer Mark Tipple. Captured from underwater, Tipple catches swimmers and surfers emerging underwater, engulfed in clouds of whitewater. Created out of a frustration with “normal” surf photography, Tipple opted for the alternative side of the surf and went down under, where he says he is constanly getting bumped in the head by his 5kg camera for his troubles!

I think they are kinda worth it though, don’t you?
