I was kindly invited to go and see the new Pamela Love Fall/Winter 2010 jewelry collection a couple of days ago, being a big fan I was thrilled to be able to try all the new pieces on, see the beautiful details all up close and personal and get some pictures for you guys.

This season, Pamela Love was inspired by her trip to Mexico with ‘Day of the Dead’ influences, folk art based on Papel Picado’s tissue paper cut flags and ropes, recalling the use of traditional labor. My favorite pieces were the Sacred Hearts pieces, the latest example of Love’s continued fascination with symbology. Heart lockets of an anatomically correct heart featuring extreme details of chambers and viens- it really is amazing. I must own one.

Her jewelry is so personal and individual, I think that is what I love about her designs. You can make them your own and they look different on everyone, which is  something Pamela Love is very interested in.
