Swedish knitwear designer Sandra Buckland’s ‘Last Breath Bruises’ collection comes about from her falling down her stairs at, what she says, was the exact same moment that her grandmother took her last breath. So, as you can imagine this AW08-9 Collection has a piece of Buckland threaded and pearled within each and every knitted knot. This is very apparent when you see the pieces by the 2007 Hyeres Grand Prize winner up close, they are everything exaggerated, complicated and ultimately beautiful.
