Sister Studios, Store + Sunkissed

Following the success of a series of pop up shops, Sister Studios has opened their doors permanently to the sun dappled, pedestrian streets of Fitzroy North.

Working with award winning builder Jake Riley, Sister Studios have created a conceptually designed space that flows through the seasons with their clothing. The colours and textures of the duos ever-changing collections will be held by a romantic inspired space. Arches, stone and wood bring to life the atmosphere of Sister…

One half of the duo, Alice (Dust Merchants) will create a rotating ensemble of sculptural objects that will inject new life into the space. Emma Cutri, the other half will curate some much loved smaller items like prints, ceramics and scents that align with Sister’s garments.

“The space is inspired by our time in California, the colors and forms reflect these memories” Says co-director Alice Mcintosh, ‘It feels like the next chapter for Sister, and we are looking forward to being part of a street, a community.”
