Tetro is Francis Ford Coppola’s first original screenplay since The Conversation. Tetro is played by art festival film elite Vincent Gallo, who is trying out his talent as a writer trapped within a bittersweet relationship between two brothers. It is a film about the power of image and the struggle to define oneself. The film, entirely fictional and shot in liquid black-and-white, is Coppola’s most personal, drawing from memories and emotions form his earlier life. The film opens in the UK on June 25th 2010.
