Death Letter, also known as Death Letter Blues, is the signature song of the Delta blues musician Son House, noted as being “one of the most anguished and emotionally stunning laments in the Delta blues œuvre.” With a strong base of bluesy notes, and a signature dashing of White Stripes-sound, this Tuesday’s Tune an escaping-the-city favourite of mine.
