Ok, it’s not technically a tune, but today’s Tuesday’s ‘tune’ is dedicated to the opening scene of Qui êtes-vous, Polly Maggoo? A 1966 French film directed by William Klein, it is an art house movie poking fun at the fashion scene and all of its excesses. It is definitely worth the watch. Starring Dorothy McGowan who plays supermodel Polly Maggoo who is being followed by a French television crew, Grayson Hall as Miss Maxwell, a fashion magazine editor modeled after Diana Vreeland, and Philippe Noiret as the TV reporter and director.
