Last night we watched a short film called Under the Weather, a new surf film by Damon Meade. The film has been shot entirely in New Zealand, taking a journey from the far North to the deep South and many places in between. Along for the ride are top Kiwi surfers Maz Quinn, Ricardo Christie, Bobby Hansen, Johnny Hicks, Luke Cederman, Billy Stairmand and friends.

As per usual, I’m always listening to the soundtrack and these guys stood out for me, The Lovely Bad Things. From California, their sound is everything sunshine, surfing and good times should sound like. The song I liked most was Blood On My Moccasins, from their recent album New Ghost/Old Waves. Enjoy!
