VMAN 18 ‘A Scandinavian Summer’ Party
VMAN magazine and Copenhagen Fashion Week launched their 18th issue, ‘A Scandinavian Summer’, last night at Hudson Hotel in New York. Nestled in the hotel’s basement bar, the party started with grapefruit ‘cocktails of the night’ and Swedish ‘General White Portion’ snus. (Weird, I know). The walls adorned in VMAN magazine covers and a very keen Dj playing all night set the backdrop to an amazing fashion show of new collections from Henrik Vibskov and Stine Goya (who was looking dead gorgeous in her whimsical dress to the floor). Two of my personal favorites. The cat walk was split up by hanging black sheets which the models walked in and out of and at times came out of the black sheets a whole other person! Clever.
Singing live, was crowd favorite Cookie, of Shapeshifter, who belted out from the balcony above ‘Lola’s Theme. It was a highlight no doubt!
It was a great show! My camera died JUST as the show started. Im awesomely prepared like that. But here are a couple I managed to get.
