Melbourne based designer Amber&Thomas has my heart melting at all the possibilities it holds for it’s wearer, ie: me. Here is a look at their Spring/Summer 2010-11 Collection full of strong lace, the softest leather, some beautiful prints of fading color and a dash of tailoring.
Amber&Thomas’s swimwear and garments are an amalgamation of the two creator’s various visions; Amber Hourigan’s keen eye formed while a fashion merchandising & marketing student at RMIT and later living in New York where she met her counterpart, Thomas Williams, a visual communications graduate of Monash University. The two synchronized minds met, and the brand was born.
“Each season I actually envisage a woman (I create a character) in a certain time and place. It is for this character that I am designing the range for”.
