Delfina Delettrez is a member of the Fendi family, a fourth-generation Fendi woman, is the daughter of Silvia Venturini Fendi, accessories director at the luxury goods house that bears her last name, and Bernard Delettrez, the French jeweler. Growing up, she often played in the jewelry workshop of her father where she discovered the tools of the trade and her passion for stones, metals and jewels.

“I think of myself when I design my jewelry,” she says. “These are not classic pieces, they are for women with a strong character and a sense of humor. Not everyone is going to wear a ring with a pig on it.”

Sold at colette in Paris, the jewelry is taking the fashion industry by storm. I personally love the delicacy of the gold and ivory skull ring. Delfina Delettrez creates pieces by combining different materials in unusual ways: classical hammered silver necklaces are covered in creepy-crawly insects, a chunky choker is constructed from fragments of meteorite and silver dragon charms. See below for more of her designs.
