Bend of Isles is an Australian fine jewellery practice which re-contextualises native flora, transforming collected specimens into wearable artefacts. Each piece crafted by hand in their Melbourne studio embodies a vehement obsession with the Australian landscape.
Salt, is the brand’s new collection of jewellery made from abstracted castings of flora sourced from the Wilderness Coast of Victoria. Through a process of abstraction and rearrangement, elements of native flora begin to resemble creatures and textures that can be found in the rock pools that hug our shorelines.
Salt is photographed by Ilsa Wynne-Hoelscher Kidd.
