I stumbled across the Allah-Las yesterday after never hearing of them before and was instantly hooked. Not only for their Brian Jonestown-esque groove, tambourine rattles and road trip worthy lyrics, but also the way their band’s website has some of the best downloadable mix-tapes from other bands, some I’ve also never heard of.
