Last night we watched Traffic, Live at Santa Monica Civic, 1972. I was blown away by this band, each member exceptional in what they play. Steve Winwood takes the cake though, playing keys and electric guitar (both superb) all whilst delivering the finest vocals and lyrics. He is as close to a musical genius as it gets. There’s an epic congo drum solo, which will just make you laugh, his hand are moving that fast, and a very psychedelic interlude while Winwood plays keys which will trance you out like any good psychedelic visuals do. Trust me it is worth the watch!

Here is a taste of the live show, the band playing one of their most celebrated songs, Low Spark of High Heeled Boys. Enjoy!
