The Byrds The Notorious Byrd Brothers album is just so good. “Triad” is a song written by David Crosby in 1967 about a ménage à trois, a subject perfectly in keeping with the “free love” philosophies of the time. However, “Triad” by The Byrds never quite made it on to The Notorious Byrd Brothers album in the final edit as they felt it was too risky…..

So, David Crosby then gave the song to Jefferson Airplane who recorded it on their 1968 album, Crown of Creation. I love both versions. So lets celebrate both! Hats off to David Crosby, I reckon…
