The sixth album from these Texan psych-rockers, The Black Angels, is that of a goodie. Like I said here, the whole album is worth listening to so it is hard to pull out a single track. But, if I must, it will be the title track, Indigo Meadow.

“The first few bars of a fuzz-drenched guitar riff, the opening thuds of a tribal drum beat, the first line dripping from a stoned vocal,” welcome to The Black Angels party.  It’s charging, slightly trancing, and definitely psychedelic. I’m really looking forward to seeing these guys play later this month.
